Our flag
The first light that belongs to every citizen
This is the flag of Aarunya Swaraj Party. Everything on it was chosen to mean something, and this page records those meanings in the party's own words.
Official proportions 2:3. White above, deep blue below, a golden dawn at the centre of a shared horizon.

The white field
The upper half of the flag is pure white — truth, transparency, openness, peace, and the possibility that is still ahead of us. It is deliberately the larger visual space: what India can still become matters more than any organisation's mark on it.
The deep blue field
The lower half is deep blue — constitutional governance, stability, responsibility, scientific temper, and institutional strength. It sits beneath everything else on the flag because institutions are a foundation, not a decoration.
The golden dawn
A golden sun rises exactly at the horizon — hope, opportunity, and a beginning. It is a dawn, not a full sun: this movement claims a start, not an arrival.
The blue arch
A thin deep-blue arch frames the rising sun — constitutional protection around new hope. Ambition inside the frame of law, not outside it.
The five rays
Exactly five bold geometric rays break upward from the dawn — one for each commitment the party holds above everything else: the Citizen, the Constitution, Opportunity, Justice, and Progress.
The horizon
One perfectly straight line runs the full width of the flag — equality. Every citizen stands on the same foundation, and the dawn rises on all of them at once.
A note on this symbolism
These meanings are the party's own adopted interpretation — what we chose these colours and shapes to stand for. We make no claim that they carry official or historical meanings beyond that. A flag is a promise made in public; this page is the record of what ours promises.
The work that promise produces is documented, issue by issue, at Aarunya Issues.
