Terms
Aarunya Issues is run by Aarunya Swaraj Party. It is a public record of specific problems: the evidence behind them, what could be done, what the party has decided, and what is being done about it.
Everything published here is meant to be checkable. Every factual claim says where it came from and when we last checked it.
By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not, please do not use it.
Reading requires nothing — no account, no sign-in, no personal details.
Where you take part — supporting or opposing an issue, answering a consultation or poll, sending a message, reporting a problem or leaving a comment — you confirm that what you provide is true and is yours to give.
Do not try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site, and do not submit automated activity in order to distort a count.
One response per browser, not one per person. Your choice is remembered on your own device so that you can see it and change it. Because we deliberately do not identify anybody, we cannot guarantee one response per person, and we would rather say so than claim a rigour we have not built. Somebody on another device, or with their browser data cleared, can respond again.
Where we can identify automated or fabricated activity, we exclude it from what we publish. These numbers indicate public feeling. They are not an election and we will never present them as one.
Some issues collect responses on an outside service rather than on this site. Where they do, the page says so and the button opens that service in a new tab. What you enter there is also subject to that service's own terms and privacy policy, separately from ours.
Results may be published in full. Where we publish a report on a consultation, it may set out responses row by row — the answers given, any comment written with them, and details such as the state and the institution a respondent named. It will not carry names, email addresses or phone numbers. Do not write anything into a response that you would not want published.
A consultation does not bind us. We ask in order to understand the public better. The position the party adopts is decided by people, stated in public with its reasons, and may differ from what most respondents chose — in which case we will say so, and say why.
We may decline to publish a comment, or remove one later, if it breaks the rules above or if we judge it misleading about a matter of fact. We are not obliged to publish anything.

A report is an invitation for us to research something. It is not published as you wrote it, and sending one does not mean we will take it up.
If it does become part of the catalogue, we write that entry ourselves, from sources we can cite. Please describe the problem rather than naming individuals, and leave out personal details that are not needed to understand it.
You keep ownership of everything you write. We do not claim it.
So that we can publish what you have chosen to have published, you give us permission to store, publish, display and keep available on this site the comments you post and the answers you give to a consultation or questionnaire, including any written answer, where we publish its results.
That permission is limited to running this site and the public record it keeps. It does not let us sell your words, license them to anybody else, or use them in advertising, and it does not stop you using your own words anywhere else.
If you ask us to take down a comment you posted, we will. An answer already counted into published results cannot always be separated out afterwards, which is the reason the forms ask you to keep identifying details out of a written answer.
We source every factual claim and state when we last checked it. Where the evidence does not settle something, we say so rather than leaving a gap that reads like an answer.
If you find an error, write to us. We will correct it and note the correction in public rather than quietly editing it away.
Where the party records what it is doing about a commitment it has adopted, that record says how well established each statement is and what is not yet known.
We report what is documented. We do not grade ourselves, score anybody, or publish a judgement dressed up as a measurement.
We charge for nothing here and we collect no money through this site. Anybody soliciting funds in our name through this platform is not acting for us.
Our research and campaign material may be quoted or reproduced freely with attribution to Aarunya Swaraj Party and a link to the page it came from.
Sources we cite belong to whoever published them and are subject to their own terms.
We link to material published by others — governments, agencies, courts, the press — and some pages embed video or posts hosted elsewhere. We do not control any of it and are not responsible for it. A link is a citation, not an endorsement.
We publish this site as a public record. We do not guarantee that it will be available without interruption or free of error, and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it. We correct what we find and what you tell us about.
These terms change as the platform changes, and the date at the top changes with them. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

Comments and what you post
A comment is read by a moderator before it appears, and it is published with the name you type beside it. Choose that name accordingly, and do not put your address, phone number, email address or anybody else's details in a comment.
Do not post: anything unlawful; abuse, harassment or threats; material identifying a private individual without their consent; impersonation of anybody, including us; commercial promotion or spam; or anything you do not have the right to publish.
